Mod of the Month

Mod of the Month is a community-driven feature that highlights the most outstanding mods published on the platform. Each month, users can vote for their favorite mod, helping to recognize exceptional creativity, quality, and contribution to the flight simulation community. The winning mod and its creator receive prominent recognition across the platform, along with exclusive rewards as a token of appreciation for their work.

• All registered users of the platform are eligible to participate in the monthly voting, given that their email address is verified, their account status is active and they have been signed up for at least six months prior to their vote.

• Each user may cast exactly one vote per calendar month. The votes are final once submitted and cannot be changed or withdrawn.

Eligible Mods

Only mods published on the platform and compliant with the our Terms of Service, General Rules for User Uploads and content guidelines are eligible. Mods that violate platform rules, copyright laws, or community standards may be excluded at any time.

• Only mods that have been released or updated within the month of vote and mods that have received at least 100 downloads are eligible for participation. For example, for the Mod of the Month 2025, the mod must have been released or last updated within the last 31 days.

• A mod that has already won the 'Mod of the Month' prize once cannot win it twice.

Voting Process

Voting takes place once per month. The mod receiving the highest number of valid votes at the end of the voting period will be declared the winner. The winner will be announced after the voting period has ended and votes have been reviewed. In the event of a tie, we reserve the right to determine the winner at our sole discretion or to apply additional tie-breaking criteria.

Prizes

The winning creator will receive:

• Prominent feature placement as recognition,

• A free 1-month Premium Membership, and

• $50 USD Platform Credit if the creator is an active member of the Creators Program at the time the prize is awarded. Creators who are not members of the Creators Program will not receive the cash reward. If a creator joins the Creators Program after the voting period has ended, they are not retroactively eligible for the cash reward.

• Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash or alternatives.

Disqualification

We reserve the right to disqualify any user or creator found to be engaging in vote manipulation or automated voting, using multiple accounts, violating platform rules or applicable laws and disqualified entries forfeit any claim to prizes.

Liability

Flightsim.to is not responsible for technical issues, lost votes, delays, or errors beyond its reasonable control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform shall not be liable for any damages arising from participation in this feature.
