Donations via Platform Credits
Creators who are part of the Creators Program can receive donations from users through Platform Credits. The benefit of Platform Credit donations is that they are seamlessly integrated without you having to leave Flightsim.to, making them more convenient. It also preserves the anonymity of both the creator and the donor.
Users can purchase Platform Credits on Flightsim.to here.
Users can donate their credits directly to creators who are approved members of the Creators Program. Flightsim.to takes a 0% cut from Platform Credit donations and they go straight to the creator balance.
These credit-based donations appear in the Creatorβs Earnings Dashboard and are eligible for payout as specified by the program rules.
Taxes
Donations made through external platforms (PayPal, BuyMeACoffee, Patreon, BTC, etc.) may be considered taxable income depending on your local tax laws. Creators are solely responsible for understanding and fulfilling their own tax obligations related to any received donations. Flightsim.to does not collect, report, calculate, or remit taxes on behalf of Creators for external donations. For donations received through Platform Credits as part of the Creators Program, Creators are likewise fully responsible for declaring any earnings to the appropriate tax authorities.
Flightsim.to does not provide tax advice. Creators should consult a qualified tax professional to determine how donations or credit-based earnings may affect their tax situation.
